The main material used is calcined gypsum (CaSO4 1/2 H2O), which is dehydrated by heating to about 200℃.
It is then mixed with water containing admixtures, kneaded, and placed between strong board pulp to be reduced to a stable crystalline form of gypsum, resulting in sheet production. By using KCC gypsum board, Beoksan supplies Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) gypsum boards of world-class quality.
